francie dillon: A Bit More

I am so fortunate to have come from such a wonderful family and to have gathered such a great group of friends!  What a life!

Here’s some of things that make my life happy.

  1. 1)Supportive brothers,  sisters and in-laws who in their own right “rock” and a mom that is solid as a rock.

  2. 2)FRIENDS! I’m so fortunate to have friends that accept me for who I am! They show me what unconditional love feels like.

  3. 3)Playing Sports!  I started playing sports in Jr. High when I lived in Independence Kansas.  Volleyball, softball and basketball.  I went on to play college tennis for Emporia State University.  I was the first girl on the guys tennis team.  The following year the University started a girls tennis team.  I received the 1st. girls tennis scholarship.   And now... my on-going sport... is the sport of being a Master Storyteller!

  4. 4)College students.  I love the energy, vibrancy in their eyes.  I enjoy knowing that each and every student regardless of background, is on the CSUS campus with a purpose, and that makes my heart happy.

  5. 5)My sister Cathy, the bossy sister I always tease about in my shows... well she really isn’t bossy at all!  In fact... she is an anchor of support for me!  We talk “educational shop” whenever we get together.. she inspires me to be the best I can be as a teacher and mentor for others....

  6. 6)FINALLY... I REALLY DO LOVE READING! Yippeee! Every night I read before bed and in the early morning I find words of inspiration that help me look forward to a day of gratitude, non-judgement and love.
